Simple Protein Pancakes

 

My current protein pancake recipe, its pretty simple and makes three/four pancakes

 

Ingredients:

1x ser. Whey protein (I used NitroTech 30g of protein per)

20g Rolled oats

½ cup Egg whites

¼ cup Almond milk (Unsweetened)

20g Raisins

1x tbsp. Manuka honey (or other quality honey)

10g Natural peanut butter

Grated coconut

Ground cinnamon

Coconut oil

 

Directions:

Blend the oats dry until they turn into a fine powder

Add the whey protein, egg white and almond milk to the oats

Blend until it’s a batter like consistency

 

Heat pan/skillet with a tsp. of coconut oil (Medium/High heat)

 

Pour mixture in adding one third of the raisins and cook for 20/30secs a side and stack pancakes on a plate.

 

Plating it up:

 

Sprinkle with the ground cinnamon and then the grated coconut, drizzle the honey over the top and place the peanut butter on top if it were a cherry!
